Cookie policy

Browsing the site and getting a price sets no cookies at all. While you book, your journey and your details are held on our servers against a random reference in the page address, not in a cookie in your browser.

When you reach the payment step, card payments are handled by Stripe, our payment provider. Stripe sets cookies of its own that it needs to take a payment securely and to detect fraud. These are strictly necessary for paying online, so they do not need your consent, and Stripe explains them in its own cookie policy.

Before the site opens to the public, our own staff can preview it using a private link. That sets one cookie, named cityline_preview, which lasts seven days and does nothing else. You will not receive it as a customer.

We do not use them. If we ever add analytics to understand how the site is used, those cookies will load only after you have agreed to them, you will be able to change your mind at any time, and this page will list them before they go live.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser's settings. Blocking the payment provider's cookies may stop you paying online; if that happens, call us and we will take your booking by phone.
