These are maximums with every seat taken. With fewer passengers there is often room for more, but we can only promise the numbers shown.
When you book, tell us how many people are travelling and how many large cases you have. The booking form then only lets you choose a vehicle that takes both, so you cannot pick one that is too small by accident.
The most common mistake is counting seats and forgetting cases. A saloon seats 4 but takes 2 large cases, so 4 people each with a suitcase need something bigger. The smallest vehicle that fits them is the MPV 5, which seats 5 and takes 4 large cases.
Skis, snowboards, golf clubs, bicycles in a bag, musical instruments, pushchairs and mobility aids can usually be carried, but they take the space of more than one case. Tell us about them in the notes when you book and we will make sure the vehicle we send will take them.
A driver may decline to load anything that would not fit safely — a case on a passenger’s lap or a blocked rear window is not something we can allow.
A checked-in suitcase — roughly anything that would go in an aircraft hold. A cabin bag, a laptop bag or a handbag counts as hand luggage.
Choose a larger vehicle when you book. The booking form only lets you choose vehicles that fit the passengers and cases you tell us about, and says why the others are too small — so give us the real numbers and the choice is made for you.
Usually, yes, but tell us when you book so we can send a vehicle that will take them. An estate or an MPV is normally the right choice for anything long or bulky.
No. The fare covers the vehicle, and the luggage limits below are what that vehicle carries safely. You pay for a larger vehicle, not for extra bags.
