Lost property

Left something in one of our vehicles? Tell us as soon as you can and we will check with your driver straight away.

How to report it

Call us on +44 7926 608888 or email bookings@citylineairporttransfers.com (24/7 dispatch). The sooner we know, the more likely we are to find it.

To find it quickly, we need:

  • your booking reference, which starts CL-
  • the date and time of the journey
  • a description of the item, and where in the vehicle you think you left it
  • the best number to reach you on

What happens next

We check with your driver and the vehicle, and let you know what we find. Anything found is held securely while we arrange to get it back to you.

Our office is not open to the public, so items are returned to you rather than collected. If returning it carries a cost, we tell you before arranging anything.

Our records

As a licensed operator we keep a record of every lost-property report for 12 months, so an item can still be traced after the journey.

Questions people ask

How quickly should I report it?

As soon as you notice. Your driver may have another passenger within the hour, and an item is far easier to find before the next journey than after it.

Will I have to pay to get it back?

There may be a charge to cover the cost of getting the item back to you. If there is, we tell you what it is before arranging anything.

I lost something at the airport, not in the car.

Items left in a terminal are handled by the airport's own lost property office, not by us. Your airline can also help with anything left on board the aircraft.
